What is Singapore Zoo in the Process of?

Singapore Zoo originally known as Mandai Zoo developed in Upper Seletar Reservoir in country's heavily forested central catchment area near Upper Seletar Reservoir spread over a large piece of land nearly 69 acres. The zoo was constructed from the funds given by the Government of Singapore and is operated by the Wildlife Reserves Singapore which also operates other zoos in the country. It opened to the public on 27 June 1973 and houses an extensive variety of animal species such as Sun bear, Orangutan, Proboscis monkey, Ring-tailed Lemur, Flamingos, Leopard cat, kangaroos, tapirs and Cottontop tamarin etc. The zoo houses Three event venues performances in the zoo which are named as Forest Lodge, Garden Pavilion and Pavilion-By-the-Lake.
