What is Pepperidge Farm in the Process of?

Pepperidge Farm is a commercial bakery in the United States that produce several bakery products. The business was created in the year 1937 when Margaret Rudkin started baking bread for her youngest son Mark who had asthma and was allergic to most commercially processed foods. The name of the business was given after one of the properties of the owner family of the business for the pepperidge tree, Nyssa sylvatica in Fairfield, Connecticut. Margaret's husband began taking loaves of bread with him to New York for selling them in specialty stores. The bakery business saw an increase and force its owner Margaret to expand it out of her kitchen and into her garage and afterwards into a full fledged company. The products produced by the company includes desserts, Milanos, Nantucket cookies, different varieties of other cookies, goldfish crackers, and varieties of bread etc.
