What is Omega UK in the Process of?

Omega UK is one of the divisions of the Omega SA, a Swiss multinational luxury watch manufacturing and marketing company. Omega was established in the year 1848 by the efforts of Louis Brandt and took its present name in the year 1894 after one of its 19 caliber model of watch named Omega. Louis Brandt bought watch parts and accessories from local craftsman and started manufacturing Pocket watches. After that Bien/Bienne area became rich in communication and power and as a result, the company was shifted from La Chaux-de-Fonds to Bien/Bienne. In 1969, the company gained popularity as it was chosen by the National Aeronautics and Space Administration (NASA) and became the first company whose watch lands on Moon.
