What is Massachusetts Income Tax in the Process of?

The Department of Revenue governs the Income Tax Department of Massachusetts in the United States. It has been further divided in two divisions as "The Taxpayer Service Division" and "The Audit Division". The Taxpayer Service Division provides help and information to the tax practitioners and tax payers and is also responsible for finding non filers. The Audit Division audits the tax returns of individuals and businesses and is also responsible for reducing the tax Gap by identifying, auditing and educating irregular tax payers. Massachusetts Income Tax is responsible to collect taxes and also for framing laws, rules about the tax policies of state.
