Heavy Metal Magazine is an American science fiction and fantasy magazine published in Massachusetts state of the US. The first edition of magazine was published in April 1977 and was started following the French science-fantasy magazine 'Metal Hurlant' which was started in January 1975 to start its American version too. The magazine is published six times in a year. In the beginning the magazine publishes translated stories of several films.
