Cosmopolitan is an international women magazine published and distributed all over the world. It was started as a literary magazine in the year 1886 by Schlicht & Field of New York as 'The Cosmopolitan'. When its first-issue was published the editor of the magazine at that time Paul Schlicht told his readers that the publication was a "first-class family magazine".
