Operations


Zuku has been operating many domestic and government organizations in Kenya and Tanzania. The company started out its services in the year 2000 and is headquartered in Nairobi, Kenya. Since then it serves large number of people in different cities of Kenya. Its other central office is located in Nanyuki, Diani, Mombasa, Nakuru and Nyeri. The company provides its all services under the group ‘Wananchi Group Limited’.

Zuku supports broadband internet, pay-TV and telephony service, etc. in Nairobi. The user can avail the download speed of 8 Mbps with error free connection, high quality of audio and video call, unlimited local calls and others etc. Its other service named as Zuku satellite TV also offers high quality television experience all across the country in digital satellite format. The satellite service is offered in Kenya, Uganda, and Tanzania as well. Talking about the television shows, its consists of 70 different channels on satellite and more than 120 channels on other cable service provider. I have tried to call a customer care person several times. I go through the process of punching numbers and eventually number nine does not connect. Every time I am using phone credit only to be stumped at that point. If the service is not available via call phone. Then please post a number to be able to SPEAK TO A PERSON.

My internet service is not working (Account 100330) in Runda. I have called all the phone numbers for Zuku and am placed on hold as all the representatives are currently busy. After a few minutes of being on hold, the phone line drops. This has happened time and time again and I can never get through to talk to someone.

My account number is 139708, your internet has been very very slow for the last few months, when you call your customer care lines you cant get any assistance. Guys you need to up your game or some of us will move on. I stopped paying your monthly installment and your team was very punctual calling me and advising the way your services have improved, but that not true. Your service is very very slow and your customer services team don not help.

I have been having issues with your Internet for the longest time now and I'm fed-up
Your phones are a nitemare to go through and when they do your customer agents take forever to get to assist yet you forget it's customers credit and yet they say they do not have access to call back their customers. Yesterday I called and was put on hold for almost half an hr the agent trying to sort the problem which he didn't manage to resolve and told me to give him another 30mins to work on it then call back if I was still with the same problems. I tried and up to now your lines are not going throughUp to now still the Internet is not working
Can the relevant authorities work on that.

Dear Zuku,

While you are trying to do away with the 1Mbps package because it happens to be the cheapest, be considerate of those who have been benefiting from the same. My account number is 158222 and the whole of last year, the internet was in perfect working condition. After you raised the rates, all I have been doing is calling customer service due to frequent fluctuations, but I never get a solution. The responses I get are very autoresponsive and it is very, extremely, annoyingly frustrating. This is unethical at best, trying to convince people to pay for the more expensive package when you can not even solve basic issues.

I have bn calling like ten times every time. Agent busy am put on hold. Yet am calling on my mobile. So iincure those expensive charges. Kindly pliz activate my acc 122223. I paid 40000, but my acc wasn't activated so i called costumer care with no hustles like today and was informed I had a balance of 275 so i was put on a temporary connection befire i clear it. I have been calling customer care since yesterday because i had a problem with my decoder, not showing some channels which i have subscribed. I understand the process needs password which i requested them to reset, but all in vain. The last time i called thats today at around 9. 30 they picked the phone and i could hear them discussing that "sasa nitamuambia nini"am shocked, where can i get the assistance?

Today I have been unable to watch TV because of the message 'SCRAMBLED' which keeps appearing on the screen. Secondly some channels which are part of the package for which I pay like Al Jazeera just to mention one I have never watched because its scrambled.
