I called customer service and was offered a gift card of 100 dollars which was thoughtful, but it did not fix the underlying problem of my mother not having a place to sleep I was also frustrated that the billing department wasted no time adding this item to my bill since it is already showing up on my statement. Just frustrated that i have to look elsewhere when i thought this process was seamless. Thank you for listening, I was told their hands were tied because its a supplier issue well then they need to get on board with the process of supply and demand in my opinion.
I was given a date originally of Dec 29th then Jan 12th Now February I have no where for my mother to sleep and ended up having to cancel the order and look for a new option I was disappointed the shipment could not have been expedited, and also to the fact no one ever called me to notify me of the delays I asked to speak to a manager at the Newport News store and was told he was in the bathroom and would call me back. Well that never happened either.
Afternoon, I am not here to bash your company I've been a customer for years now and for the ost part been very satisfied with the service. However, recently my mother has fallen ill and we needed to purchase a nice sleeper sofa for her at my house for her to sleep on since she was unable to stay in her house she is 81 years old now. So, I decided to go to the store i've always depended on and ordered a sleeper sofa. My order number ID was 851117157018381.
I purchased a bed set at the Woodbridge, NJ location on 12/22/15. I requested a specific mattress to be added to my order however the incorrect mattress was delivered. I informed the store (Woodbridge, NJ) and I have yet to be delivered the correct mattress. I've spoken to over seven different people to no avail. I have a bed set that I've been unable to use because I do not have the correct mattress. What's worst is every time I've called the store it was as if no one else at the store knew about my issue (that's seven times including just a few minutes ago). This is clearly unacceptable.

YOUR COMMERCIALS ARE DISGUSTING, ANNOYING AND SICKENING Why any company would choose these commercials to encourage individuals to shop with you is beyond me. 1st Worse: The people gagging and about to puke about their old furniture. 2nd Worse: The woman disagreeing about the pronunciation of CHAISE while rolling around on the CHAISE. 3rd Worse: The man rolling back and forth on his big new bed while his significant other is trying to study/work. I would not be enticed to visit your store after seeing any of these commercials. PLEASE PASS THIS MESSAGE ON TO 'THE POWERS THAT BE'.
Couch and loveseat less than six months old - cording coming apart on cushions, pilling on cushions, NO support in cushions. Have contacted the store several times with NO resolve. VCF came to look at couch and found it to be normal wear and tear. I do not believe that unraveling of the cording around the cushions after three months is normal wear and tear. The couches look like they are ten years old. I want this resolved. We have had nothing, but problems with our entire order since day one. Please contact me regarding this claim.
This is a shaneful sales tactic performed on customer that Value City has made its fortune on for so many years. I called my sale women Fran from the Old Brookyn store and she just gave me lip service as to why my furniture was on back order. She promised to talk to her manager and call me back, but that never happened. Just anotger bait and switch. Nice job Value City!
I bought my sectional furniture on Memorial day weekend snd was told that it could be delivered within five days after my balance was paid in full. Four days later I paid the balance off and they told me that it can not be delivered till July 27 now because the manufacture was out of stock on my two end pieces of my set. Mind you this is a sectional couch. How can they sell out of two pieces of a five piece set?? I looked online and it still showed its in stock. After I saw it was still available online I realized that this is a sales gimmick. They just want their customers to be money invested.
our room was being painted and we just finish it about three days ago, so we did not use the bed and it is still where the delivery guys put it. Today 6/8/2013 I decided to go to the store since I did not hear from anyone and was told that I have to wait July 5th and that it was put by the manufacturer. I have proof that is a lie. I found out that on 6/11/2013 that 127 beds will be deliver and there is nine bed are being order for 6/21/2013 of course mine is not one of them.
I got mad and called corporate on Monday and got them to give me the display and promising to give me a bed in June 1st when it is available. I have a signed statement by the store manager. I wanted to cancel the order, but corporate said they did not want to lose my sale and said that if I agreed to keep the sale, I will get $500 for my wait. So, I took the deal thinking that I will have the bed by now. I just wanted to mention that we did not set the display bed because our room was being painted and we just finish it about three days ago, so we did not use the bed and it is still where the
On 4/13/2013 I bought some furniture at Value City and spent about $5000 for a set of bedroom/mattress/lamps. I was told by the salesman that the bed will be available end of May beginning June. I reluctantly bought them; I was told that the mattress and box will be delivered with a frame until I get the complete bed. So, I said yes, when the mattress came there was not frame. I called, called, and went there and was told that it was a mistake and that I have to wait a week to get the frame and sleep on the floor. I have to wait 07/05. I want to return everything.
