US Federal Trade Commission originally known as only Federal Trade Commission is an agency under the federal government of the United States which takes care of trade activities carried out in the country. Its main work is the promote consumer protection rights and the eliminate anticompetitive business practices, like coercive monopoly. It is an old agency formed back in the year 1914 and its role is enforce laws and policies related to trade. The agency is consists of several members and the agency is headed by a Commissioner.
