What is Mississippi Child Support and What They Do
Mississippi Child Support is a welfare program in the US state of Mississippi. The Program is offered by the state government for the well development of children, residing each corner of the state. Mississippi Child Support program works under the jurisdiction of Division of Child Support Enforcement, a division of Mississippi Department of Human Services. It is offered through Division of Field Operations along with other programs. The Department operates the program through Support Offices, opened at eighty four locations. Mississippi Child Support program is available in eighty two counties.
Mississippi Child Support Services and Responsiblities
Mississippi Child Support has been incorporated to ensure that the child is receiving the full support from both the parents. The Program is responsible for paternity establishment and implementation of court orders. The total financial amount given in respect with the child support is determined by the court. The court issues the guidelines regarding the quantity of the financial Benefits
and the percentage revenue. The child support program also has a benefit calculator, by which the child support benefits are calculated by filling the online form. Along with Mississippi Child Support, Mississippi Department of Human Services also offered various services to eligible residents including Aging and Adult Services, Early Childhood Care & Development, Family Foundation & Support and Youth Services.
