On 5/26/15 I ordered $1, 000 plus blind from Menards. The products on display at Menards nor installation was the same. You can never remove the valance or clean it without ripping. I mailed a very detail letter to Menards with pictures, along with an assembly part that came infested with bugs. The assembly came from Mexico. I received a letter from Brenda Garrett, Menards guest service, she sent my complaint to Mr. Ejzak, manager of Spring Fashions aka Bali blinds. On 7/23, I called Mr. Ejzak. On 7/24 Laura called, I gave my concerns. She suggested I have an installer to check my controller due to more problems. I suggested she have someone to come out. On 7/27 Laura called, trying to get someone out. Still waiting I called Menards headquarters 17158765911. You get a recording to write them a letter or fax. They used "bait and switch" tactics. (Menards and Spring Fashion aka Bali blinds) Menards also trick you with the 11% rebate, I haven't received that either.
I went to your new Menards store on North Av in Melrose Pk. Il yesterday. I wanted to purchase two of your Clevermops that were on sale for $9. 99. Your store is not close to my home, but you had some good sales I wanted to take advantage of. When I asked one of your associates about the Clevermops she told me they were sold out the Friday morning as soon as the store opened. Cleaning people came and bought all of them. I asked if there were Rain checks, she said number I do not think this is fair that someone can come in and buy all the products. I was very disappointed that I went all that way and couldn't get what I wanted. I was there on Saturday afternoon, so it wasn't the last hours of the sale In the future, I wish you would put limits on such popular items so we all have a chance to purchase it.
I purchased a yard works wheel barrel at your store last fall. I put it together and left it sit in garage. Now i try to put air in tire and it wont hold air. Tube was split. Took it back to Menards and they gave me another tire from a box. Went home and tried to put air in it. Same thing the tube was defective. Went back to store again. They refused to give me another tire or even just a tube. So I had to purchase a tube to be able to use my wheel barrel not to mention I wasted four hours of my time. NOT HAPPY with there response. I do a lot of business with Menards thru my company. If I do not get re-reimbursed for the tube I will no longer go to Menards for myself or my business.
My complaint is this (since you allege "dedication to quality and service" you should at least be forthcoming and retract this statement. BECAUSE AT THIS TIME IT FEELS JUST LIKE AN OUTRIGHTLIE. Earlier today we spent about 125. 00 at your Princeton Rd. Bridgewater store and at check out I needed two bags of water softener salt and two bags of SAFETY SALT. BAR CODES were obtained and since we were there yesterday I priced the saftey salt. Was told I'd have two go to the back of the store, get out of a line that was upset at me for causing such a problem, that was even mine. GET THEPRODUCT AND COME BACK. 4OR five of your employees just stood there not doing a thing while I retrieved the products. VIEW your videos if you do not believe me.
