Match Com Exploration
is an online dating website that was created by Gary Kremen in the year 1993 as a proof-of-concept for Electric Classifieds that provide classified advertising systems for newspapers. Kremen was joined by two men named Peng T. Ong
and Simon Glinsky and decided to develop an Internet business plans for 'match.com'. The trio first made a subscription model, and collected information about market leaders statuses, that covers women, technology professionals and other communities. The trio team was joined by another member named Fran Maier in the year 1993 which had ideas of making Match.com friendly and accessible to women which in result make men to follow the website because of the presence of a majority of women on the site. The website was then launched in the year 1995 and was recognized by Wired Magazine
to list it in their magazine. The website had given lifetime Charter
memberships to its first users in order to make the initial database of users a heavy one for other customers to match with. In the year 1998, the website was bought by Cendant and the Next
year it was again sold out to IAC. The website provides its services to many parts of the world with offices in San Francisco, West Hollywood and international locations like Tokyo, Rio de Janeiro, and Beijing. The Aim
of the website is to make a perfect match of individuals with the large database of users of the website.
