In December 2014, I received two books. I did not order as i declined offer online. I did not open package and wrote "return to sender" and put books back in the mail. I have continued to be billed for those books and despite 2-3 calls to your company I have been told charges can not be negated as the books were not received on your end. I even spoke to a supervisor several days ago and she said she would remove the charges 2-25-15 even if books had not been recovered on your end. Obviously that was not true as the charges are still on my account. How can we resolve this issue?

Ditto to all complaints on this site. How TLG has remained in existence for so many years is beyond my comprehension especially in this day of E-reading, online booksellers, etc. I had problems back in the 70s and reading these comments is like deja vue.

I was charged for a selection($50. 00) that i had declined and i have the email to prove it. I called them and i was told that it would take them two weeks to process a refund. I am sorry. i did not cancel my membership. When they took over my original book club beware of automatic selections and being sent books, you declined and get get cancel bill automatic selections as soon as possible unless you have time to deal with their errors. I am terminating my membership.

I have sent notice via e-mail that I want to cancel my membership. Received notice on 7/31 from Jeffrey Ross, Customer service that it had, indeed, been cancelled. It is 10/16/13 and I am still receiving notifications and unwanted books. My last e-mail said if any further books were sent, I would assume they are free. Also I have tried to contact customer service at 1-717-918-2665 on two separate occasions (waited 20 minutes) to answer.

I hate the literary guild, the website is impossible to find customer service and I have tried several times to cancel my account and have not been successful. I am very glad I finally found a customer service number, hopefully I can finally call and cancel and be done with this once and for all

I was sent books I did not order again, along with a duplicate book. You said I would be taken off the books of the month club. This has not happened yet. Please correct this. I called and spoke with customer service and she said she would send me a label to return the books.

I received the selected feature of the month which I had declined. Before receiving books they had already taken the payment out of my account. I have returned books, cancelled my account, they have acknowledged they have received the books back, but they still have not returned my payment

I HAVE TRIED ON NUMEROUS OCCASSIONS TO GET AHOLD OF SOMEONE IN CUSTOMER SERVICE AND HAVE EMAILED MANY TIMES TO GET INFORMATION ON MY ACCOUNT. YOUR CUSTOMER SERVICE IS TERRIBLE AND QUIT SENDING THOSE AUTOMATED MESSAGES AND PUT A PERSON ON THE PHONE TO ADDRESS MY QUESTIONS.DURING UPDATING YOUR SYSTEM, I HAVE READ ALOT OF COMPLAINTS ON LITERARY GUILD, DUE TO THIS SITUATION AND ALSO DATING BACK A FEW YEARS.

I received a letter telling me I still owe $15.40 and I do not believe I do as I have paid all invoices I have received. I cannot get anyone to answer me when I try to call, several times. I wait and wait for customer service to answer the line I am holding. Sometimes the line just rings, busy, busy, busy. Please contact me so I can find out just what I still owe.
