Central Maine Power Company provides over 9 billion dollars kilowatt-hours of electricity annually to more than 600,000 retail electric subscribers in central and southeast Maine. CMP records its origins to Nov 7, 1899. Central Maine Power Company began using the name Central Maine Power in 1910. Every year, CMP's capable contractors prune and repudiate trees along with thousands of miles of public tracks to present people with secure, reliable electric delivery service.
