He was then told to send an email request to the address listed on the website under FAQs. He did both yet is still being charged. Now he was told he must go into the facility in order to cancel. It is VERY CLEAR that in August when he requested a cancellation, they misinformed him, knowing they could get air condition couple of more months out of him and then at the 90 days, charge him the annual fee of 40$. I am a member in the Islandia location in New York. I have been a member since they opened up in town. On Saturday I was working out on the open floor doing a sit up where I throw a medicine ball against the wall and catch it. It was light, but the manager came out and told me I am not ALLOWED to throw the ball on the wall. This makes absolutely no sense to me. I have never been not allowed to do a workout at a gym. This needs to be addressed. If I can not workout how I want what's the sense of continuing my membership and in speaking with other customers they said they also thought that rule was silly.

I have to say how disgusted I am with the customer service at Yonkers location at Blink Fitness. The new assistant manager Antonio is overly friendly with Staff and members. He's not a physical trainer yet insists on helping women to the extreme. He's had many relations In the time he's been there with members and his prior assistant manager which is how he obtained the position he has now. Its inappropriate for other members to walk past and see. I believe he has no respect for the gym using it as his playground for women knowing where all the blind spots are so that this are not caught on camera. Allowing women in rooms they shouldn't be in and doing things he shouldn't. If these are the types of staff you like running your facility that's fine you'll just lose more and more female members. He's a manipulator and has an excuse for everything. He's a very hands on kind of guy lifting women in the lobby and all. What a way to greet a member.

I have never liked going to a gym; Blink has been an exception. I have remained here at Blink PARAMus for at least two years. I believe the difference has been that I have always felt welcome here; the front desk has made a difference. When i enter, they know my name, they address me with a smile, ask about my life - I felt like family. Things are changing. The latest has been that Johnny Aquino has left your employ. Johnny was the most pleasant, welcoming front desk person, he always greeted everyone with a smile, did his job, and made me happy that I was there. I cannot believe he is gone The place will not be the same without him.
I will like to cancel my Blink Fitness membership since i moved out of new york in feburary, i tried to do it in January in person i was told theres no need to cancel that i wasnt a member. My membership is suppose to expire in January. In February or March i got billed for maintenance and i get billed monthly, every time i call they say come in to cancel, but i do not live in new york, they say go online, i choosed not to pay my bill anymore so my account can get freezed up, but am still getting billed. I just want to cancel my membership and then pay my bills and end this episode.

I am a member of the Murray Hill branch of Blink Fitness, and my one big suggestion would be to buy a third power rack. There are currently only two, and this causes very large lines to form as many members rely on the power rack for free-weight compound workouts like squats, deadlifts, overhead press, and even bench pressing (there isn’t a separate benching area). I’ve spoken about this issue with many other members, and even employees that work at Blink and there is a general consensus and support for the addition a 3rd rack. There certainly is enough room for it in the Murray Hill branch and it wouldn’t even be necessary to remove any existing machines or equipment. This can be a great improvement to an already amazing gym. Please consider this suggestion and please feel free to reach out to me if you have any questions at all. Yearly maintenance fee: I recently decided to cancelled my membership because I not longer use it. They say it will be active for 45 days. Within those 45 days there is a yearly fee that will be charge (Exactly towards the end of the 45 days) They are asking me for full payment even though I do not be even using the premises and the payment is due just a few days before my cancellation finalizes it. Hi just wanted to tell you how much my husband and I love the Blink Fitness In Clifton NJ. My husband retired in April of this year and I got him a membership after I joined. We go three times a week minimum and love it. It is clean, affordable and the staff is so friendly and helpful. Since coming to the gym people have asked me if I have lost weight which I haven't yet I look thinner because I am more toned and muscular. My husband since joining, who had never been to a gym in his life, he is now 62, has lost 85 lbs He looks so different, feels better and has reduced some of his bp medicine He is a real success story. The beginning of the you I joined Blink Fitness on Utica ave in Brooklyn, NY. In all that time I was never offered the personal training session I was promise. But most of all I have only used the gym five times. I haven't even been a member of the club for a year and I had to pay a yearly maintenance fee and now that I want to cancel a membership I am not using, They want me to pay $60 to cancel my membership. That equates to three months of membership payments. Are you guys out of your mind. Not only have you been taking my payments for something I am not using, but you want me to pay just to stop using it. Hi I have been a member at gym at blink since 2014 and signed up at their location in jersey city journal square, but right now I am being pushed to cancel my membership. I lost my membership card on July 5th 2015 and for some reason the staff at the journal square location couldn't and still can not find me in the system therefore they were giving me a card every time I had to work out until one Monday I was told I couldn't work out because I am not in the system after I explained the situation. The manager Brandon came out and said that I have to show a bank statement to prove that I am a member and thankfully my bank is close then I brought the statement they let me work out and it has been two months I have no card and can not work to other locations because I have the membership that gives me access to all locations. This is so annoying and all I hear is they are working on your case it will be fixed in a few days over and over this is so ridiculous.
Blink Fitness is such scam company. They have all these gyms popping up all over so you think they are legit. And everything was fine until I started having problems. I couldn't get into my account and the employees at the gym where no help and clearly had no idea what to do. All they could say was the manager has to call to reset. I why cant I just call. They said only a manager can not clients. Now my account has been double charged and there is no customer service number. I have to call my branch and trust these incompetent people from before to handle my money. They need way better customer service or at least a number to call and to train their employees.

Canceled membership in person, was told I have to give 45 days notice , etc and I could use the gym up until that time. That's fine, I said okay. I stopped seeing the monthly charge on my card so I thought all was well. Not I have bill collectors calling my house. I look back at my junk email account (bc who is going to give Blink your real email when they bombard you with junk mail?) and Blink was sending me emails saying they were unable to charge my account and it would be suspended. How would that even work? I didn't change the card I was paying with, I just canceled. When you decide to leave this gym document it and get it in writing. Keep the documentation for at least two years or else you will have to deal with this head ache.

Everything was great except for one problem that is causing a big inconvenience for a lot of members. There are what I call and I guess most people call a Hammer Universal weight rack. There are only two of them at this Blink Location, and many people want to use them. I was advised last year by several of your employees that they are aware of this, but there is nothing that can be done about it. So after a couple of months I cancelled my membership, its kind of crazy to wait over an hour for a workout. Many people still do like to work out with free weights and do their Bench Press, Standing Press, Squats Etc. I recently noticed this Blink Location has not been as crowed as it was when it first opened so I Joined Again and it is still the same. I would like to know why its not possible to add several more of these Hammer Racks and removed some of the Cardio Equipment which there is way to many of with the exception of the Treadmills.
