I am having Platinum card number 4622715355024467. I was in Rural area for a long time. My card was automatically used for my group Insurance purposes for rupees 1760 in Sep. or October 2014. Before that I was having deposit in said Card and I used only rupees 300 app credit, but I could not deposit the said amount in time. And now that amount has become more than rupees 6000/. As I informed that I was in such a Rural area where communication facilities are not easily accessible. In my statement dated 7th of December 2014, I have been charges a penalty of Rs. 61. 83. I was informed that this penalty was for delayed payment of my bill dated 7th November 2014 which StanChart has received on 30th of November 2014 and that this cannot be reversed. This is absolutely wrong. I have submitted payment on 18th November 2014 Cheque No: 709284 dated 18-11-2014 for Rs. 5321. 27 on ICICI bank in the drop box. Just because your records were not updated on time it is absolutely not justified to penalize the customer. I once again request you to reverse this entry as it has been charged un-judiciously.

I am always receiving your bill (hard copy) 25th to 27th of each month. I have been trying to reach you people through your customer care number toll free and paid to terminate the service of the Manhattan credit card. But unable to locate the correct menu since this option in not available which contains the replacement of card. None the customer officer is coming on line for rendering or for guiding. In view of above could you please tell how to proceed for the replacement of card which is torn? and any procedure required to follow?
Initially I was told that there will be no charge on this PLATINUM card and its free, which is totally misleading and cheat, i would say. I am utterly disappointed. Please mail me the correct and working customer contact number. so that, i can call them and enquire further on to this. Regards,
