In my statement dated 7th of December 2014, I have been charges a penalty of Rs. 61. 83. I was informed that this penalty was for delayed payment of my bill dated 7th November 2014 which StanChart has received on 30th of November 2014 and that this cannot be reversed. This is absolutely wrong. I have submitted payment on 18th November 2014 Cheque No: 709284 dated 18-11-2014 for Rs. 5321. 27 on ICICI bank in the drop box. Just because your records were not updated on time it is absolutely not justified to penalize the customer. I once again request you to reverse this entry as it has been charged un-judiciously.

I have been trying to reach you people through your customer care number toll free and paid to terminate the service of the Manhattan credit card. But unable to locate the correct menu since this option in not available which contains the replacement of card. None the customer officer is coming on line for rendering or for guiding. In view of above could you please tell how to proceed for the replacement of card which is torn? and any procedure required to follow?

With reference to the above i would like to state as under:
1) the above credit card was issued by your bank more than ten years back, at your own, after obtaining data from somewhere.
2) thereafter i was informed that i may use it and there is no annual charges on it. I reluctantly kept it, but never used it for any purpose.
4) after a year or so i received a bill from you, probably the annual charges which you had assured that it will not be charged. In this regard i immediately protested through phones and letters too. I was informed that the entry has been reversed which was debited due to a mistake.
5) it is very disheartening to see that a bank of your status has not.
Iam all ready payment per month, but your charges is very high.

This is regarding the over limit charges of rupees 500 levied on my card during the month of December, 2013. My card limit was reduced to rupees 47000/- from rupees 96000/- without my consent. Earlier also, my payment date had been re-scheduled to first week of every month from fourth week of every month --which was very convenient date as it was post salary date. These type of changes are creating problem in usage of card as normally i hardly get time to see my mails on regular basis.
