In a buy back offer I received an upgraded Tablet from, Datawind and I returned older piece/item (Tablet) to courier guy and paid difference amount 2500 as required in the offer to courier guy. Courier guy has misplaced or taken this item, which is supposed to be returned to company. Now Datawind company is bothering me from a long time to return older tablet, which i had already given. They have sent me a notice as well. I am not supposed to pay for Datawinds mistake in courier service. Than i made inquiry in consumer forum that if it is under warranty period, they can charge for that.
They ask that in warranty period for inbuilt accessories they cannot charge any thing.

After a long effort i could contact the customer care to know about the service centre in kolkata, I. E, Phoenix international, And on th August with job card number Lkascwbj. Even after almost months over, I am not getting my product from the service centre. They are telling that, They have sent it to the head office. How long datawind will hold the product the whole warranty period i am really repenting on my decision of purchasing the tablet from datawind.

In this regard i would like to inform you that in my Aakash tablet, it has no camera and video facility. So I request you please replace my tablet and arrange new tablet with camera and video facility.

All i see in this forum is that the major problem with this device is that its not qualified or fir enough to be in the market.a normal person like me using normal stuff like calling an massaging also is difficult... hanging unnecessarily and hard resetting itself loosing data.i bought one from India now in Kenya and its giving me hell switching on and off hoping it will be alright... am fed up!
